induction motor. Designed to boost both the hot
and cold water supplies they can be used to boost
water pressure to bathrooms, whole flats / houses
and commercial premises. In situations where there
is less than 0.5 L per minute flow then the pump
can be started with the addition of an air or
non-latching pull cord switch or alternatively,
for automatic operation, a negative flow pump
can be used.
How to choose Stuart Turner shower
pumps
1. With your plumber estimate the maximum flow
required in litres per minute.
2. Check pressure reqirements of equipment to
be used in metres head.
3. Select the performance curve for the type of
shower pumps required.
4. From the horizontal scale on the chart (see
below) read vertically upwards from the flow rate
in litres per minute desired. Where this line
intersects the performance curve it will show
the pressure of the shower pump in metres head on the
vertical scale. As long as that head of pressure
is sufficient to drive the showers equipment selected,
the minimum size should be used.
5. Remember the pressure is in addition to the
static pressure that may exist within the system. |
